Changing What We See
Photoshop comes with a vast number of "plug-ins" which are small components that enable additional program features. The plug-ins that come with the program are mostly filters. These filters allow you to do things like add shading effects, static, lighting effects, blurs, sharpen an image, or even turn photos into simulated line drawings. There are also a number of companies that sell Photoshop-compatible plug-ins that add even more functionality to the program. I've used Photoshop for over 8 years and I'm still finding new and interesting ways to use the tools in my work. Some artists/designers specialize in Photoshop and use the program exclusively to create. The possibilities with this program are as endless as your imagination. Photoshop is published for both Windows and Macintosh platforms by Adobe
Systems and can be purchased for approximately $600. You can access tips,
tricks and more information about Photoshop by visiting Adobe's website
at www.adobe.com. Tip: There are Graphic Design classes in your area. Sign up for FREE information from top design schools. Some
